It is with great pleasure I welcome you to our brand new website. Since inception in 2005 we’ve been flying under the radar of the world wide web, but we feel now is the time to make ourselves heard and build upon recent successful forays into social media.
I hope this website not only provides functionality and service to our schools through things like the competitions booking calendar, but also becomes a go to resource for teachers, pupils, parents, clubs and the wider community of North West Leicestershire. The team here at the NWLSSP is incredibly passionate about giving every young person in our schools the opportunity to develop themselves through high quality Physical Education into lifelong participants and volunteers in sport and physical activity. Anyone who shares this aim is more than welcome here and whenever possible we hope to promote local opportunities to get involved with events or sports clubs in the area.
In the spirit of embracing the internet age, from time to time myself and members of the team will post blogs sharing ideas, insight, local examples of best practice and big national news that will affect us in the future. Of course should all that fail I can keep you updated on the twilight days of my Sunday League career or Brian and I are more than happy to blog about wedding planning from the grooms perspective! If you have, any ideas or questions you would like us to answer feel free to email us or comment on our articles directly, however if you’re going to comment on the website directly please always keep in mind:

We’re grateful for constructive feedback, questions and ideas, but going back to the original point we want this website to be a go to resource and as such used by everyone young and old alike so please keep it clean and non personal.

We’re looking forward to telling you more about us as individuals and what we do as a team in the coming weeks, months and years, hopefully you’re keen to be part of the movement and help us promote the powerful message of PE and school sport.
